Matthew was instrumental in not only the purchase of our new home in I’on but also in navigating the complexities of relocation from the northeast to Charleston. With our very limited knowledge of the area, we were the worst of clients because we not only did not know what we wanted, we actually thought we did. Our initial must-have list and neighborhood requirements were 180 degrees from what we actually needed but instead of telling us that he knew better than us what we needed (which wouldn’t have worked) he took the time to show us what we didn’t want and helped get us to what worked for us without us ever feeling like he was pushing us. Once we were set on the home, he expertly negotiated the sale and inspection aspect, which again was very different than up north. Matthew was always available to us, and looking back at the several months it took to find our home, he answered his cell literally (and I am using literally correctly) every time I called him.
